About the Investment Showcase Programme
The Investment Showcase specifically targets established high-growth companies raising post-seed/A-round size investments (>£1m).
Following the initial application process, selected companies will join a programme of workshops delivered by the partners to help improve the investment proposition and pitching. Companies will pitch to a panel of experienced investors and shortlisted companies will be invited to pitch at a final showcase.
The programme is an opportunity for businesses to improve their own investment proposition, engage with other companies in a similar position, raise their own profile and if successful pitch to an audience of potential investors at the end of the programme.
Who should apply?
The Investor Catalyst programme is run as a competitive process aimed at improving participants’ investment proposition and ensuring that only the most viable and exciting opportunities are presented at a final showcase. Participants will benefit from tailored support and training throughout the programme provided by experienced investors and industry leaders such as Price Bailey and Barclays Eagle Labs.
The programme specifically targets established high-growth companies raising post-seed/A-round size investments (>£1m) across a range of sectors including, but not exclusive to; life-science, med-tech, digital/ICT, agri-tech, engineering/manufacturing and logistics from across the region.
Applicants need to show a track record of previous fund raising, proof of market, growth strategy and at least an MVP in place. Applicants are also expected to have critical management documents such as shareholders agreement, financial forecasts, etc. in place along with details on the management team. To ensure the quality of the presentations at the final showcase, participants are required to attend the workshops as part of the programme. Participants will pitch to a panel of experienced investors who will select a shortlist of maximum 10 companies to pitch at the showcase.
